The Allied Arts Council recognizes that on-the-job experience can be important in advancing the careers of arts, nonprofit, and cultural leaders. Likewise, we know that the Allied Arts Council benefits from the creativity and curiosity of student interns.

Board of Directors
Does serving on the Allied Arts Council board interest you? Here is what you need to know.
Directors are elected for a three-year term. The Council meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month. The board is responsible for setting policy and for managing the financial affairs of the Council. Board members serve on committees, give financial support, advocate for the arts, and attend Allied Arts Council events. The Council staff, with the support of volunteers and board members, carries out the policies. The staff is led by the Executive Director, who reports to the board.
