Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art,  one of the Midwest’s finest American art museums, is home to a permanent collection of colonial portraits, American landscapes, American Impressionism, 20th-century works, and a growing contemporary collection.  

American Guild of Organists presents the power and beauty of traditional organ music through workshops and recitals during the year, including an annual recital featuring a nationally or internationally acclaimed organist.

Creative Arts Productions (CAP) annually sponsors a summer musical theater workshop for young people ages 9-18. During the three-week camp, participants learn every aspect of theater production. The workshop provides approximately 40 students over 80 hours of instruction and on-stage experience in drama, vocal, music, creative movement, and stage crafts under the direction of the professional artistic staff.

Junior League of St. Joseph is committed to promoting volunteerism and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. 

Performing Arts Association presents nationally and internationally acclaimed artists. PAA also sponsors children’s theatre workshops.

RiverSong Chorus is a women’s singing organization committed to personal and musical growth through ongoing education and performances.

Robidoux Resident Theatre, known for its excellence and volunteer spirit, produces a wide range of community theatrical productions.

The Runcie Club, a women’s organization devoted to sustaining and promoting intellectual growth in the St. Joseph community, sponsors visiting lecturers, contributes to cultural and educational organizations, and supports and maintains the Constance Fauntleroy Runcie Art Collection located in the St. Joseph Public Library.

St. Joseph Community Chorus, a 100-voice choir with a repertoire ranging from classical to popular selections, performs several open-to-the-public concerts each year.

St. Joseph Figure Skating Club offers figure skating events and competitions held at Bode Ice Arena.

St. Joseph Historical Society sponsors several historical-themed events each year, including the annual Robidoux Reunion held each summer.

St. Joseph Museum, Inc., comprised of the Glore Psychiatric Museum, Knea-Von Black Archives, and the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion, is dedicated to the research, preservation, protection, interpretation, exhibition, and teaching of St. Joseph and the Midland Empire’s history and cultures.

St. Joseph Youth Chorale is dedicated to the promotion of advanced choral education experiences for exceptional singers in grades 3-12 in St. Joseph, Missouri, and surrounding communities.

Saint Joseph Symphony has long been considered one of the finest orchestras performing in a city of this size. Classical, pop, band, youth concerts, and educational programs offer something for everyone.
