AKMA Exhibition Opening - Joseph A. Imhof (1871-1955): Artist of the Pueblos
 
    
          Joseph Imhof (1871-1955) is an American painter best known for his decades spent documenting the Pueblo people near his adopted home of Taos, New Mexico. This exhibition of Imhof’s works was collected by Michael Gaines. The collection began with a single lithograph, but has grown to over 30 pieces, including an early drawing from his time with the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show.
