Grab a brochure and take the Sculpture Walk today! Afterward, vote for your favorite sculpture, then deposit it in one of the four brochure/ballot boxes downtown or drop it off at the Allied Arts Council office, 118 S 8th Street. All who vote will be entered into a drawing to win one of two baskets filled with goodies from local merchants.

Inspiration for the Artwork : “Commissioned by the family of one of the first homesteaders to settle in south eastern South Dakota. The farmer has brought his horse and single bottom John Deer plow (1896). After the long non-stop trek across his 10 acre field, he does a much needed back stretch and mops the sweat from his face. He is looking up at the hot sun and realizes he has many hours until sunset.”
